Elopement Wedding in Yosemite National Park

Words cannot express how excited I was to photograph Emily and Kevin’s elopement wedding at the famous Yosemite National Park! Ever since I shot their engagement photos at Irvine Regional National Park, I dreamed of the day to finally set foot on this iconic site. After a 300-mile drive from my home in Whittier, I can honestly say that the trip was worth it as I was in awe of the beautiful views that this location had to offer.

Emily and Kevin were in such good spirits the night before the wedding as we enjoyed dinner with their family and friends at their cabin. When the big day finally arrived, we made our way to their ceremony location inside the woods of Swinging Bridge Picnic Area where we also began taking their romantic portraits. From there we drove in Kevin’s Tesla to Sentinel Bridge where we could get a clear view of the famous Half Dome. After that quick stop, we finished the shoot at the classic Tunnel View location where we had to really search for a spot that wasn’t crowded with tourists, but we got the job done!

As the sun set upon its gorgeous valleys, we made our way back to the cabin where their family and friends were waiting for them and we chowed down on some well-made hamburgers and enjoyed each other’s company throughout the night with games and fun conversations. I cannot thank Kevin and Emily enough for bringing me on this adventure. You’ve made my first encounter at Yosemite a trip to remember, and I pray that God blesses you both in your marriage.

Here’s to you both, the Youngs. Cheers!
