Destination Wedding at Sandos Finisterra in Cabo San Lucas
I’m a huge fan of doing weddings in Mexico, and when Erin and Erik approached me to take pictures of their destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, I just had to say yes! With my videographer friend, Ricky Hurtado, we flew out to meet the couple and their lovely family for a rehearsal dinner at the iconic restaurant, Casa Martin. After hearing some memorable speeches by their parents, we then joined the bride and groom for cocktail hour at the classic Santos Finisterra resort. Erik and Erin were nothing but accommodating to Ricky and I, and we all had the best of times photographing their wedding at the resort on a beautiful Saturday evening. When Erin arrived for her first look with Erik, the man’s eyes looked smitten with love. After 7-years of dating, his expression showed that he was ready to marry the love of his life! The couple then made their way down to the beach where they said their “I do’s” and now the rest is history. I couldn’t be more happier for these two and am thankful that they trusted me to shoot this wonderful elopement wedding. Here’s to you, the Johnson’s!
