Chinese Wedding Tea Ceremony in La Puente
After eloping in the beautiful sights of Santa Barbara, I had the pleasure to come into contact with Jeffrey and Jennifer who needed a wedding photographer. The beautiful couple wanted to honor their family with a Chinese Wedding Tea Ceremony, and it became one of the most wonderful gatherings that I had the privilege to be a part of.
The couple wanted to do a modern take on the ceremony, and there wasn’t any kneeling on the floor to deliver tea, but love was felt from all around as each family member enthusiastically gave their blessing.
While Jennifer looked absolutely stunning in her red outfit, she then switched out into a traditional white dress to surprise her family and friends. After hearing all of the “ooooooh’s” and aaaaaah’s”, we then took a quick drive down to Peter F. Schabarum Regional Park to shoot some gorgeous portraits of the newlyweds.
